He was predeceased by : his parents, Sim Pearson, Sr. and Minnie Octavia Jowers Pearson; and his siblings, Maurine Ratcliff, Minnie Irene Jones, Mary Elizabeth Pearson, Robert Earl Pearson, Willie T. Pearson, Tommy Pearson, Ed Pearson, J. W. Pearson and Bill Pearson.
He is survived by : his wife Brenda Fuller Pearson; his children, Kenny Pearson (Lisa) and Dawn Cooper (Jeff); his siblings, Walter Pearson (Debbie), Charlie Pearson and Dorothy Bucklew; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Cooper, Brittany Pearson and Lynsey Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Kolten and Khloe Cooper. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
