He was predeceased by: his parents, T. R. Sanderson Sr. and Elizabeth Leggett Sanderson; and his brother T. R.. He is survived by: his siblings, Mae Newcomb (Donald), Ray Sanderson (Liz), Jimmie Sanderson (Joyce), Robert E. Sanderson (Betty Ann) and David Sanderson (Lola). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
