Brumfield of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Moss, Mississippi, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luther Johnson and Lessie Moss Johnson; her husband L. Brumfield, Sr.; her sisters, Lorene J. Poythress and Laverne J. Runnels; her nephew Mark Stephen Runnels; her stepchildren, Mel Brumfield (Carol) of Meridian and Martha Roth (Mickey) of Clinton; and her siblings' children, Sherry P. Finneran, Mary Poythress, Connie Leggett, Cindy Meador, Ken Poythress, David Poythress, John Runnels, Rick Runnels, John Finneran and Robert Finneran. She was also cherished by five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; eight great nieces, seven great nephews and ten great great nieces and nephews.
