She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Chancellor Sr.; her daughter Gaye; her parents, Leroy Sr. and Ethel Boyd; and her siblings, Leroy Boyd Jr. (Bud) and Bernice Jones.
She is survived by: her son James Chancellor Jr. (Sherry) of Laurel; her siblings, Cooper Boyd (Katherine) of Laurel, Louise Pigford of Jackson, Mary Ann Sumrall (Carl) of Laurel, Patsy Herrington (Butch) of Laurel and Becky Pippen (George) of Laurel; and her close friends, Bill and Helen Little of New Hebron. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
