It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Alice Knight Holifield of Laurel, Mississippi, born in Stringer, Mississippi, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ercel Talmadge and Myrtle Knight; and her brothers, James Knight and Harold Knight. She is survived by: her daughters, Angelia Rustin (Scott) and Darlene Wooten (Dan); her grandchildren, Justin Hodge (Rachel), Cody Hodge, Jacob Hodge, John Daniel Wooten (Careh), Jordan Wooten (Jaycee), Ross Wooten (Kallee), Memorie Boykin and Dallas Rustin; her great grandchildren, Bentley Hodge, Kimber Hodge, Peace Thompson and Colton Hodge; her brother Edward Knight; and her former husband Butch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
