She is survived by: her husband Robert "Buddy" Bates of Ovett; her children, John Wayne Bates of Ovett, Lucinda Maxcey of Ovett and Buddy Allen Bates of Ovett; her grandchildren, Colby Tyler Maxcey, Hunter Reed Maxcey, Johnny Glenn Bates, Jonathan Wayne Bates and Shane Douglas Bates; and her siblings, Shirley, Rayford, Myrtis, Virgil, Elaine, Jasper and Martha Jane. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
