She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. McKenzie and Bertie Mae Hulsey McKenzie; her husbands, Aldean Josey and James Hyde; and her siblings, Helene Watson, Mary Nell Stephenson, Herman McKenzie and Charles Raymon McKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Josey and Sherry Cockerham (Rodney) of Laurel.
