We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2018, at the age of 86, Burl Burton Merritt (Laurel, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Nancy Lee Boutwell Merritt; his wife Mary Merritt; and his brother Bruce Merritt. He is survived by: his children, Greg Merritt (Patsy) of Daphne, AL, Buddy Merritt (Susan), Linda Smith (Martin) and LeAnn Berlin (Eric); his grandchildren, David Smith, Danny Smith, Andrea McSwain, Michael Merritt, Patti Merritt, Nicole Martin, Roddy Merritt and Rick Merritt; and his sister-in-law Peggy Merritt. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
