She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Converse and Alice Adair Harville Converse; her aunts, Margaret Bonney and Minnie Jim Bardwell; her sister Margaret L. Converse; her grandparents, T. D. Harville, Loren and Louise Converse; her uncle Otis Bardwell; and her cousin Otis Ray Bardwell.
She is survived by: her friend Rhonda Temple Gilbert; her son Cory Blaine McAllister (Bailey Plummer); her grandson Jace Emery McAllister; her siblings, Lori Kerr and Talbert West of Florida; and her cousin Bobby Bardwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the scholarship fund established by her graduating high school class.
