She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Nell Whitehead; and her brothers, Jimmy Davis, David Davis and Eddie Davis. She is survived by: her husband Robert Middleton of Laurel, MS; her children, Mitchell Redd of Sandersville, MS, Nathaniel Middleton and Angel Elizabeth Penton of Sandersville, MS; her stepdaughter Marie Clingon (Cory); her father Charles Wayne Whitehead (Kathy); and her siblings, Nancy Luna (Jim), Pamela Murphree (Rick), Melisa Whitehead, Donna Broome, Becky Whitehead, Kim Norman and Ivy Davis (Pam). She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
Memorial donations in memory of Charlene can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
