He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Leon and Ada Flynt Bryant; his wife Mable Flowers Bryant; and his siblings, Glenn, Harley and Betty Sue Wade.
He is survived by: his children, Melody Locke (Ben) of Shreveport and Charles Bryant (Deborah) of Houston; his grandchildren, Matthew Locke (Jennifer), Amy Locke Gibson (Marc), Robert Bryant (Laura) and Barbara Bryant Giles (Jon); and his great grandchildren, William, Sara, Jason Locke, Evan, Madeline Gibson, Jackson, Thomas, Evelyn Bryant, Callen and Tucker Giles.
Mr. Bryant's family expresses their sincerest thanks and gratitude to all of the staff at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home, and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to that facility.
