He is survived by: his wife Martha Brooks Parker Nelson; his brother Mac Nelson of Pascagoula, MS; his children, Forrest (Tokiko) of Tokyo, Julie McCraney (Chip) and Parker (Crystal) of Foley, AL; his brother-in-law Jack Hicks of Cobbtown, GA; his father Milton Chancellor of Tuscaloosa, AL.; his stepmother Gina Chancellor of Tuscaloosa, AL.; and also Japan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Home of Grace in Vancleave, Mississippi, the First United Methodist Church in Laurel and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
