He was predeceased by: his father Ernie Edwin Johnson; and his sisters, Linda Faye Johnson Townsend and Peggy Sue McMullan. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Clark; his children, Stephen Johnson of Laurel, Chayne Johnson of Colorado, Charla Hathaway (Jared) of Texas and Channah Newton (Ben) of Texas; and his siblings, David E. Johnson of Laurel, Patricia Bankston of Laurel, Deborah Elkins (Ricky) of Laurel and JoAnn Campbell (Louis) of Laurel. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
