He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Hutto Lewis; his parents, Rolphe H. Lewis and Vera P. Lewis; and his siblings, Douglas W. Lewis, Thomas Lewis and Dorothy L. Humphrey. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
