He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Wells; and his parents, Willard Wells and Thelma Wells. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Max Wells of Laurel, MS, Greg Wells (Sharon) of Mobile, AL and Susan Hedgepeth of Laurel, MS.; his grandsons, Derek Loper (Chelsie) of Knoxville, TN and Brett Wells of Laurel, MS.; and his siblings-in-law, Jimmy Abernathie (Gloria) and Judy Abernathie.
In lieu of flower family request donations to the American Cancer Society or the local Animal Rescue League.
