She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper Buchanan; her parents, Oliver Holifield and Louise Holifield; and her siblings, Francis Hancock, Grace Ellzey, Betty Jean Holifield, Edward Holifield and Thomas Holifield.

She is survived by: her siblings, Billy Ray Holifield (Faye) of Laurel and Erma Wade (Dub) of Laurel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
