She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas M. James and Dora Allen James; her siblings, Leroy James, Milton James, Robert James, Annie Nobles, Beatrice Busby and Cubell Nobles; and her son-in-law Tommy Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Doris and Associate Degree; her husband Allen Jones of Laurel; her children, Dwight Jones of Laurel and Donna Martin of Foxworth, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Amber Barnette (Heath) of Laurel and Col. Adam Jones (Jennifer) of Clovis; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Barnette, Lakeyn Barnette, Payton Jones and Parker Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
