He is survived by: his wife Sue Burney Sharp; his children, Regina Sanders (Joey) of Willis, TX, Pam Clarke (Kennon Davis) of Laurel, MS and Edward Sharp (Lynn) of Jackson, MS.; his grandchildren, Allen Sanders, Matthew Sanders (Blake), Crystal Sharp Vicary (Chase), Hunter Clarke and Leah Clarke Busselli; his great grandchildren, Peyton Vicary and Braden Buzzelli; his pet Sassy; his brother Rupert "Boot" Sharp (Debbie); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Sharp Fitzmorris and Dorothy Sharp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
