He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilman Brown and Vina Poore Brown; his former wife Oma Lea Chancellor; his daughter Sandy Brown; and his siblings, Hilman L. Brown, Jr., Charlie Brown, Helen Brown May and Elizabeth Ann Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Simpson Brown; his children, Evander G. Brown, Jr (Danny) and Debbie Brown Gibson (Curtis); his stepdaughter Pamela Simpson Autry (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brandon Brown (Chelsea), Stephanie Simpson, Sandra Barra, Amy Pruvot (Alan), Christy Williamson (Ricky) and Jennifer Napier (Coy); his stepgrandchildren, Lee Odom (Brandi) and Danielle Blakney (Derrick); and his siblings, Bill Brown, Donald Brown and Clara Jane Brown Jackson. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
