She was predeceased by: her daughter Barbara Ilene Hicks; her parents, Floy Mae Smith Heidelberg and Samuel Augustine Heidelberg; her husband Charles "Len" Hicks; her granddaughter Brittany Lashae Hare; and her brothers, James Medford Heidelberg and Samuel Alford Heidelberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria "Mona" Gomez (Fabian Gomez) and Sherry Sherman (Greg Sherman) of Laurel, MS; her goddaughter Ellen of Stringer; her siblings, Janie Brymer of Lakehills, TX, Michael Heidelberg (Harriet) of Moss Point, MS and Richard Earl Heidelberg (Ann Heidelberg) of Lakehills, TX; her sister-in-law Melvaline Stronko of Vancleave; and her great great grandchild Anuel Gomez. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren.
