He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Crane Keyes of Laurel, MS; his children, Carol Upton of Laurel, MS and David Keyes (Patty) of Stringer, MS; his grandchildren, Jennifer Holifield (Darrell) of Laurel, MS, Scott Upton (Melissa) of Decatur, MS, Lacy Sullins of Laurel, MS, Melanie Pickering (Casey) of Laurel, MS, Melissa Keyes of Abbeville, LA, Hope Vaughn (Casey) of Laurel, MS, Megan Tenyck (Brent) of Laurel, MS and Clay Coker (Wendy) of Mobile, AL; and his sister Virginia Breland of Laurel, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.
After complications from the Coronavirus, he died peacefully at South Central Regional Medical Center.
