He is survived by: his wife Cathy Carney of Laurel; his children, Darrell Carney (Kristina) of Laurel, Shelley Hodge (Kent) of Laurel, MS, Jason Carney of Findlay and Billy Carney (Ashely) of Clara; his stepdaughter Christy Smith (Ricky) of Hattiesburg; and his daughter Nikki Stephenson of Meridian. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
