With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grady Eldred Bird (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Ian Bird and Ida Belle Conn Bird; and his sisters, Ruth Bird Lambert, Bobbie Lea Bird Kaiser and Sandra Kay Bird Bullock.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Wansley Bird; his children, Susan Bird Thompson (Steve), Patricia Ann "Patti" Bird and Grady Lee Bird (Joan); his grandson Michael L. Thompson (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Aubrey Bryanna Thompson and Aiden Grady Thompson; his siblings, Margie Bird Douglas and Paul Nix Bird (Margie); and also Kenneth Kitchens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
