He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Hanberry Johnson; and his son-in-law Joseph Hightower. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Hightower and Chris Johnson; his grandchildren, Teresa Kennedy, Jason Kennedy, Christini Ingram, Matthew Hightower, Kristen Hightower, Patrick Johnson, Kaylee Johnson and Dustin Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Broadus, Ashlan Broadus, Fallon Kennedy, Grayson, Gabby, Madison Hightower and Noah Johnson. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
