He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tennie and Wilma Tullos Walters; and his siblings-in-law, James Granville Walters (Anita Rogers Walters), Robert Nevil Walters (Opal Cardwell Walters), Fred Thomas Walters and Eta Seale Walters Thornell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan W. Bourland of Hattiesburg and Jackie Lea Kerr (Gary) of Soso; his grandchildren, William McLeod Bourland of St. Louis, MO, William Jack Kerr of Laurel, Laura Lea Bourland of Johns Creek, GA and Linda Bourland Wynn (Keenon) of New Orleans, LA; and his great grandchild William Harvey Kerr of Laurel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
