She was predeceased by: her mother Mable Strother Hatten; her husbands, Grover Holifield and Woodrow Holifield; her son Mike Holifield; and her siblings, Robert Hatten, Lewis Hatten, Houston Hatten, Jack Hatten, Bertha Rowell and Hazel Sherman.
She is survived by: her daughter Dianne Morris (David) of Laurel; and her grandchildren, Clay Smith (Kelly), Corey Long (Van), Casey Herrington (Michael), Stephen Holifield (Amie), Jennifer West (Farrell) and Adam Holifield (Kristy). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
