It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Francis Gatlin Jr. (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on September 24, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gatlin, Sr. and Leona Thompson Gatlin; and his siblings, Erma Nell West, Ethel Merle Doss and Laverne Gatlin.

He is survived by: his daughter Jodi Husband (Eldridge); his brother Irvin Gatlin; and his grandchildren, Destiny, Lindsey, Hannah, Zachary, Allison, Bralyn, McKenna, Kyleigh and Kenny Husband.
