He was predeceased by: his son Glenn Micheal Long; his parents, Dewitt Talmadge, Sr and Verda Pitts Long; and his siblings, Talmage Long, Jr., Mary Nell Prince and Myrtle Holcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Edwina Walters Long; and his siblings, Albert Long, Pauline Foxworth, Verda Voncile "Bonnie" Long, Geneva Kelly, Annie Lou Griffith and Mattie Mae McILwain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
