He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Goodson Ward; and his parent Zeffie Ward. He is survived by: his children, Richard Ward (Janie), Donald Ward (Sherrah), Sandra Ward Brenner (Ken) and Lori Ward Barnes (Jim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
