She was predeceased by: her father Joseph E. Gauthreaux of Biloxi; and her grandparents, John, Mary Gates of Pensacola, FL, Joseph and Theresa Gauthreaux of Biloxi.
She is survived by: her husband David Childress of Laurel; her daughters, Molly Humphries (Carson) of Richardson, TX and Mary Katherine "Katie" Childress of New York, NY; her mother Mary Helena Gauthreaux (Gates) of Biloxi; her sister Nancy Pledger (Jim) of Natchitoches, LA; and her grandchildren, Hannah, Lydi Kate, Wiley and Ellis Humphries.
