He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Elizabeth Odom; and his sister Fredna Rae Pittman (Marshall). He is survived by: his brother Rudy Odom (Jonelle); his sons, Richard Melton Odom and Christopher McRae Odom (Julie); and his grandchildren, Ryan Melton Farrell Odom, Sara Elizabeth Odom, Collin McRae Farrell Odom, Zachary McRae Odom, James Alexander Odom and Abigail Ann Odom.
