He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hodge and Francis Collins Hodge. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Purvis; his children, George Landon Purvis of St. Petersburg, Adam Vincent Purvis of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kassie Joann Purvis of Murray and Aubri P. Purvis of Laurel, MS; and his siblings, Kenny Purvis of Shubuta, MS, Larry Don Purvis of Shubuta, MS, Wilma Adams of Ellisville, MS and Ima Sue Purvis of Shubuta, MS.. He is also survived by his children, brothers and sisters, and his extended family.
