He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Battles and Catherine Gallagher Battles; his daughter Patricia Krovicka; his brother Joseph Stachura; and his former life partners, Leah and Bonnie.

He is survived by : his children, Gregory Battles, Michele Odom (Tom) and Eric Battles; his grandchildren, Eric Rockwell, Felton John Heath, Rocky Heath, Kyle Heath and Angie Saunders; his great grandchild Charlotte Heath; and his brother Robert Battles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Raymond Edward Battles (Ray), age 84 of Laurel, MS went to his heavenly home on June 23, 2021 after a long battle with dementia/alzheimer's.
