It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickie Melvin Varner (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Allen Kirby and Jewell Heathcock; his father Charles Sims; and his niece Nacole Varner. He is survived by: his wife Jewell Elaine Varner; his children, Kristie Boler (Steven) and Shane Tisdale (Charlotte); his mother Mary Sims; his brother Richard M. Varner (Carla); his grandchildren, Nicole Howell (Chris), Sydney Tisdale, Colby Tisdale and Harley Tisdale; and his great grandchild Nathan Howell.
