He is survived by: his wife Frances Myrick Coffin; his children, Beth Lindsey (Mark) of Houston, TX, Robert A. Coffin III (Susan) of Meridian, MS, James Casey Coffin (Kellie) of Laurel, MS and Todd Coffin (Debbie) of Hattiesburg, MS; and his siblings, George Kyle Coffin of Wilmington, NC, Clara Coffin Jung of Fredericksburg, TX and Gladys Coffin Frels of Fredericksburg, TX.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Church or charity of choice.
