He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy McElhenny and Mamie McElhenny of Decatur, Mississippi.; his son Phillip McElhenny; and his sister Sue Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Mary B. McElhenny; his sons, Glenn McElhenny (Marilyn) and Brooks McElhenny (Tammy); and his sister Irma Cooksey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
