It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Barefoot Walker (Laurel, Mississippi), who passed away on April 17, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Claude A Walker, Sr; her children, C. A. Walker, Jr and Linda Kay Story; her siblings, James Barefoot (Hop), Thurman Barefoot, Ashton Barefoot, Martha Adams and Carolyn Hendry (Polly); her great grandchild Anna Claire Tyler; and her parents, James Barefoot and Carrie Barefoot.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Gantt (Max) of Montgomery, AL; and her brothers, Thomas Barefoot of Charleston, MS, Hyran Barefoot of Jackson, TN and Roy Barefoot of Newton, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
