He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hodges Sims; his son Lindsey Sims (Kathy); his grandchildren, Kelly McKee (Jason) and Kayla West (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Kruz McKee, Macy Klaire McKee and Braxton West; his sisters, Vivian Whatley and Mary Lou Russell (Ray); and his sisters-in-law, Louise Grafton, Polly Hodges, Carol Hodges and Carolyn Sims. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
