It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn R. Melton of Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandson Jerry Thompson; and her parents, David Pernell and Sally Roberts. She is survived by : her daughters, Rebecca Greer of Avera and Sally House of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, Leslie Marie Cobb, Anamda Lynn Cobb and Charles Edward Cobb III; her great grandchildren, Ethan Pernell Cobb, Audry Marie Cobb, Thomas Ryan Craig and Jonathan Alan Craig; and her brothers, Jerry O. Roberts, David Wayne Roberts, Donald Roberts and Bobby Gene Roberts.
