It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie F. Phillips of Louin, Mississippi, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband J. C. Phillips; her parents, John McClain and Hattie McClain; her son Harvey; her granddaughters, Brianna and Kaitlyn Williams; her son-in-law Phil Kirby; and her siblings, Beatrice Hicks, Arnold, Houston and Delmar McClain.
She is survived by : her children, Evelyn Kirby, Lynn Harris, Walter Phillips (Sheila), James Phillips, Sue Newbury (Bill), Cindy Knotts (Billy Joe), Sandra Holcomb (Mike) and Marie Haigler (Donnie Ray); her grandchildren, David Harris, Diane Beckham, Stevie Phillips (Lacey), Richard Phillips (Julia), Dale Phillips (Lindsay), J. D. Phillips (Ali), Eric Newbury (Theresa), Jonathan Knotts (Allie), Joshua Knotts, Jennifer Knotts, Amanda Hare (Danny), Thomas Ratcliff (Ashley), Blake Haigler and Jessica Haigler; and her sisters, Louise Boyd and Thelma Lewis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
