She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Morris and Clara Massey Morris; her husband Jim Wood Burt, Jr.; her granddaughter Briana Leigh Burt; and her siblings, Neva, Betty Vanderford, Edris Hodge, Mary Lynn Permenter, Cecil Morris, Hazel Young and George Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Burt Hardy (Bobby) and Tim Burt (Lori); her grandchildren, Tiffany B. Bruton (Shawn), Tyler Smith, Lara Burt Higginbotham (Kiel), Sabrina Hardy Smith and Stacie Hardy Holland (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Riley Bruton, Taelor, Marley Smith, Carson, Brady Smith, Owen Holland and Jett.
