He was predeceased by: his son William Holmes, Jr.; and his sister Molly Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Holmes; his children, Kendrick K. Holmes (LaToya), LaPatrick D. Holmes, Antawan Holmes (Tameka), Marcus Holmes (Tashonna), Maggie Y. Riddle (Rotunda), Adrienne L. Waldrip (Frederick) and Tonnee Holmes; and his siblings, Purvis Holmes, Willie E. Harris, Annie Mae Curtis, Gary Holmes and Rosie F. Harris (David). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 521 Armstrong St, Louisville, MS 39339.
