He is survived by: his wife Elsie Byrd Dixon; his children, Debbie Goodman (Doug), Rita Gwin (Michael) and Archie O'Neal Dixon, Jr. (Marcia); his grandchildren, Marcus Renick Pridmore, Jason Bradley Pridmore (Bethony), Emily Hope Horlock (John Michael), Sara Elizabeth Dixon and Ryan Michael Gwin (Madeline); his great grandchildren, Kipton Walker Gwin and River Ryan Gwin; and his brothers, James Terrel Dixon and Wayne Phillip Dixon.
