He was predeceased by: his parents, Welch Hobby and Thelma Geneva Hobby (Ball). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Hobby (Tomlin); his children, Sherry Williams, John Hobby and Eddie Hobby; his brother Welch I. Hobby; and his grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Paul), Dylan Hobby (Samantha), Camryn Hobby, Allison Hobby, Olivia Hobby, Justin Wilson, Kristen Wilson and Seth Williams. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
