He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lynn Tanner Mergenschroer; his children, Jane Mergenschroer of Lucedale, MS, Tonya Harbison (Lee) of Lucedale, MS, Paula Hinton (Keith) of Lucedale, MS and Larry Mergenschroer (Susan) of Lucedale, MS; his grandchildren, Mallory Hoerner (Daniel), William Bonner, Jared Cole, Paulina Hinton, Tyler Mergenschroer and LeAnn Harbison; and his great grandchildren, Bently Hoerner, Emmalyn Rose Hoerner and Marina Bonner. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
