He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sweet and Lillian Sweet (Harris); his siblings, Lela Pomo, Mary Zuleger, Amey Moulton and John Sweet; his stepmother Frieda Sweet; and his daughter Suzanna Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Nona Sweet (Brannan); his children, Tracine Hunt (Jeff) of Murrieta, CA and Cyrus C. Sweet Jr (Ginny) of Aguanga, CA; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Eubanks, Linda McLeod, Donna Turner, Teresa, Marshal Brannan and Ken Brannan. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
