Schmitz of Lucedale, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estil D. Schmitz and Dorothy Schmitz (Landers). He is survived by: his wife Milta Schmitz (Craft); his children, Charlyn Gilliam (Scott) of Hattiesburg, MS and Jeff Schmitz (Lynda) of Belle Plain; his grandsons, Nathan Schmitz (Ashley) of Nowthen, MN, Josh Schmitz (Brittany) of Ft. Campbell, KY, Jacob Schmitz of Minneapolis, MN, Nicholas Hollingsworth of Houston, TX and Mathew Hollingsworth of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Betty Rodgers of Lucedale, MS, Hal Schmitz (Wanda) of Atlanta, GA and Bobby Schmitz (Joyce) of Mobile, AL.. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
