She was predeceased by: her parents, John Phillips and Orlean Phillips; her siblings, Rev. C. D. Phillips (Roxie), Lattiemore Phillips, Ransom Phillips, Ollie Phillips, Eliza Crook (Samuel) and Myrtis Underwood (J. P.); and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Jean Phillips, Floreada Phillips, Yvonne Phillips, Flossie Lawrence, Tony McCann and Claude Ellis.
She is survived by: her daughter Rachel Ann Jones; her siblings, John Henry Phillips, Joe Phillips (Linda) and Willie V. Ellis; her sisters-in-law, Lois Phillips, Alberta Phillips and Lilly Phillips; and her adoptive son Lester Carpenter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
