He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene S. Bennett; his son William Glenn Bennett; his parents, Marvin Lee and Ruby Bennett (Nix); and his brothers, Herbert Hoover Bennett, Joe Benard Bennett and Charlie Lee Bennett.
He is survived by: his grandson Brantley Brokaw; his children, Debbie Joy Bennett Brokaw, Darrell George Bennett (Debbie) and Curtis Wayne Bennett (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Kristofer DuBose-Kensaul (Katherine), Bryan Bennett (Amber), Abigail Carrigan (Tony), Laura Bishop (Ben), Claudia Nott (John) and George Bennett (Amanda). He is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.
