We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 74, Gerald Jerry Nelson of Lucedale, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Maxwell Tennerson Nelson; his brother Joel Nelson; his close friend Pamela Gay Cottingham; his daughter Angel Michele Partridge; and his grandson Hunter Partridge.

He is survived by: his mother Joan Wismer; his stepfather Frank Wismer; and his children, Rebecca Parnell, Joanna Jacobs, Mistie Ragland, Shelley Nelson, Amanda McGlothlin and Maxwell Partridge. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
